Climategate: It’s all a HOAX

Global Warming has been debated for many years. The believers of this religion serve to deliver the message that humans are destroying the planet. Specifically, Americans are single-handedly causing the warming of the earth through innovation and technological advancement.  Al Gore has made millions of dollars as the Supreme Leader of the organized movement to force Americans to call the HazMat Team if they break a light bulb in their home.  He has nudged his propaganda disguised as education into the public school system in America and the mainstream media perpetuates the movement with story after story of the fate of the world at the hands of her inhabitants. 

Critics have argued that the theory behind Global Warming just doesn’t make since. Many have questioned the scientific data used in the claims. Average citizens scratch their heads when they hear Global Warming reports on the evening news; following the weather report of record lows and the earliest snow fall in 50 years. Common folk have often asked. “ If God created the earth and man, how is it that human advancement would have the ability to destroy the planet?”  Many Christians are confident in their faith and belief that God is responsible for temperature changes and to think humans could affect it is nothing short of arrogant.

Last Thursday, so many of the Global Warming questions were answered by computer hackers who managed to obtain files from the Climatic Research Unit (CRU) based at the University of East Anglia. A very large file (61 mb) was downloaded and posted on the internet. 

THINK:  Have you heard this story in the mainstream media?

The Director of the CRU, Phil Jones, has acknowledged the files that contain papers, documents and emails, are real.  The emails are particularly damaging and offer very clearly the degree to which the data and information offered to the public has been manipulated.    Included in the damaging evidence are prominent names in the Global Warming Scientific Community:  Phil Jones, Benjamin Santer, Michael Mann, Kevin Trenberth, Jonathan Overpeck, Ken Briffa and Tom Wigley.  This small, elite, community was named by Professor Wegman in his report to the National Academy of Science (NAS).

When questioned about the data and methodology used to obtain it, Phil Jones has been quoted as saying, “We have 25 years or so invested in the work. Why should I make the data available to you when your aim is to try and find something wrong with it?” 

The information revealed in the emails includes evidence as to how Professor Wegman;s  “community of scientists” published and peer-reviewed each other’s work.  The emails show how the group controlled the process including the manipulation of major journals like Science and Nature. One of the “community members” was Andrew Weaver, editor of the Journal of Climate.

The group went on to control the global weather data used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), including the crucial chapters and preparation of the Summary for PolicyMakers (SPM).   They also had a left wing channel to the New York Times through Andy Revkin.  The emails between Revkin and the community are extremely telling and should at the very least call into question his journalistic integrity.

Attempts to disguise the inconvenient truth of the Medieval Warm Period (MWP):

While the information revealed in the file was obtained through e-mail theft by hackers, it does not change the facts contained therein.  Science is dependent on accurate and complete data that can be replicated.  The Global Warming hysteria appears to have been being pushed forward on unproven theory and manipulated and false data.

THINK:  Have you heard from anyone in the media, Congress or the president call for an immediate investigation into this matter?  Has there been a call to stop all taxes, tax increases and regulations related to “saving the planet?”

Keep a close eye on this one. The media is investigating the whistle-blower, not the truth behind the hoax.  Those who seek to control through the myth of global warming are not going to go away quietly.

Obama Connection to Limbaugh-NFL Story

Rush Limbaugh was denied the opportunity to participate in the purchase of the National Football League’s St. Louis Rams, earlier this month. The reasons cited for his dismissal from the group included statements from Limbaugh’s Wikipedia profile, which have since been proven false, along with his strong conservative political views.  The conservative talk radio show host was viciously attacked in an effort to prevent him from pursuing his dream of ownership of a football franchise.  Rush may have been onto something when he told his listeners he believed there is an “ongoing effort by the left in this country … to destroy conservatism, to prevent the mainstreaming of anyone who is prominent as a conservative.”

Rush Limbaugh described the order of events for his audience and painted a very grim picture of where this country is headed. Rush said he was approached about joining a group of investors who would make a bid to buy the St. Louis Rams. In the talks, Rush confirmed the group understood what they were getting involved in by asking him to participate. He was assured there would be no problem and Dave Checketts the man who invited Rush to join the group even told him, “…I wouldn’t have approached you if I hadn’t taken care of that [firestorm].  I would not have even come and asked you to be part of the group if I had not cleared your involvement with people at the highest levels of the National Football League.”  With that, Rush agreed to participate in the bid.

Evidently, Mr. Checketts did not expect the recently appointed NFL Players Association Director, DeMaurice Smith, to send a letter to the Commissioner strongly objecting to Limbaugh’s involvement in team ownership. In an email to the union’s executive committee Smith had this to say:

 ”I’ve spoken to the Commissioner [Roger Goodell] and I understand that this ownership consideration is in the early stages. But sport in America is at its best when it unifies, gives all of us reason to cheer, and when it transcends. Our sport does exactly that when it overcomes division and rejects discrimination and hatred.”

You know the rest of the story… Rush was removed from the group and denied the opportunity to pursue his dream because of lies and misinformation.

 So, you have to ask: Who is DeMaurice Smith? Why does he have this opinion of Rush Limbaugh to the point that he would not talk with him about the controversy?

 Here is the breakdown:

• DeMaurice Smith, a Washington laywer.
• Served as counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder
• Member of Barack Obama’s transition team
• No experience in professional sports

THINK:  A former Obama official and political ally is chosen to head an organization (union) that controls a lot of money. When an ideological opponent expresses interest in the organization, he is slandered and prevented from pursuing his dream.

Why is this important to average Americans?

The NFL’s collective bargaining agreement with the players will expire soon.  If they don’t reach a new deal, the salary cap will be gone.  The owners could lock out the players and force a work stoppage. This is certainly not what the players want. 

THINK:  Ownership of an NFL franchise is ownership of a business in America.  NFL teams (like any other business) are regulated to a certain extent by the federal government. Now the Executive Director of the NFL Players Association is lead by a man who is tied directly to the White House.  DeMaurice Smith has made it known that if he has to, he will bring the White house into the conversation. He will bring the Congressional Black Caucus into it, too.

 If you believe the incident between Rush Limbaugh and the NFL is no big deal and does not affect you, think again.  This is proof the left will stop at nothing to demonize, stigmatize and discredit those who oppose them. The ultimate goal is to silence the opposition and they will stop at nothing to accomplish that.

 DeMaurice Smith is a former Obama official and political ally. He was chosen by the NFLPA specifically for his political value and connections to the White House. Smith has directly attacked an ideological opponent and supported the lies against him.

 If you are still not convinced, take this recent episode with Rush Limbaugh and put it in the back of your mind. 

 Now, remember President Obama’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Czar, Mark Lloyd.  This is the man who has stated the he finds aspects of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez consolidation of power in his country admirable.  He has written of the need to tighten regulations on the commercial radio market.  Lloyd has written that Private news-media organizations are destroying American democracy because they do not equally and adequately inform the public.  He hails government as “the only mechanism that can help us improve our society.”

 Here is a statement from Mark Lloyd that sums up his disdain for the First Amendment:

“It should be clear by now that my focus here is not freedom of speech or the press. This freedom is all too often an exaggeration. At the very least, blind references to freedom of speech or the press serve as a distraction from the critical examination of other communications policies.

“[T]he purpose of free speech is warped to protect global corporations and block rules that would promote democratic governance.”

So, here we are…Another day, another example of the division that is taking place in this country.  Another day, another controversial issue that ultimately has ties to Barack Obama.  Never has this country seen one man who so passionately seeks to destroy it.  Barack Obama promised to FUNDAMENTALY TRANSFORM America and it appears as though he will stop at nothing to keep that promise.

All Roads Lead to Obama

The story of Rush Limbaugh being cut out of the bid to purchase the St. Louis Rams, is not a new story.  There was no shortage of reports of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the like reporting the [false] statements of Limbaugh.  These accusers nor the media bothered to fact check the statements. Here’s the problem: the quotes were false.  The supposed words of Rush Limbaugh, that were used to smear his name, came from a Wikipedia profile that was edited by someone other than Rush or anyone on his staff. 

Who would edit a Wikipedia profile and include false information, you ask?  The IP address for the user responsible for the changes appears to belong to the law firm Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP Located in New York City.  In addition to false quotes on Limbaugh’s profile, this IP address has also been used to make changes to articles about Karl Rove, Sean Hannity, James Dobson and Sarah Palin. The changes take place from 2005 up to earlier this year.

• Parsons name included on the VIP list at a funeral with people like Maxine Waters, Louis Farrakhan, Al Sharpton, Bill Clinton and Barack & Michelle Obama.
• Parsons interviewed Obama on stage for “more than an hour” at the event Obama: ‘Better Judgment’ on Foreign Policy.

Paterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP partner, William F. Cavanaugh joined the Obama administration in April, as Deputy Assistant Attorney General. From the firm’s website:

And there is the issue of campaign funds contributions:

• FEC records indicate that individuals associated with Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler, LLC donated almost $100,000 to Obama’s 2008 campaign.
• Over the last ten years people associated with the firm donated another $80,000 dollars to the Democratic Party and thousands more to Democrats across the country – from Oregon to Florida.
• Thousands more went to such radical left organizations as Emily’s List and MoveOn.org.

THINK:  False quotes attributed to conservative Rush Limbaugh’s Wikipedia profile are traced back to IP address of New York Law firm with ties to the Obama administration. Said law firm employees have made significant financial contributions to Obama, the Democrat Party and other radical left organizations. 

Has anyone who repeated the “words of Rush” come out and apologized for neglecting to fact check the information?  Has the law firm acknowledged the damaging information may have come from someone in the firm? Have any of the media outlets who reported the unchecked data, retracted it or apologized for the damage done? Nope. Al Sharpton is threatening to sue Rush, if he does not receive an apology from the talk show host!

Obama Refuses to Denounce ACORN

President Obama made the rounds on the friendly state-run media on Sunday. During his time with George Stephanopoulos on ABC This Week, the president would not commit to cutting off funding for ACORN. You can hear Obama say that he doesn’t know much about the ACORN story:

President Obama says he hasn’t been following the story. You hear him say he didn’t know ACORN was getting a lot of federal money. And you hear the president say this is not a big issue facing the country.

Well, this is a big issue for this country! The reason this is a big issue  is that Obama has had an intimate and long-term association with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), the largest radical group in America.  President Obama thinks Americans are too stupid to connect the dots. Here is the breakdown:

Who is ACORN?

ACORN evolved out of the 1960’s radical “New Left” group National Welfare Rights Organization. The NRWO set out to remove eligibility restrictions on welfare eligibility with the ultimate goal of overwhelming the system to the point of collapse.  The theory behind this plan was that an impossibly overburdened welfare system would force “a radical reconstruction of America’s unjust capitalist economy.” Rather than socialist utopia, America got a culture of dependency.

ACORN organizes in liberal areas where local legislators are often slow to understand the goals of the organization.  This group opposes welfare reform; preferring instead to keep welfare recipients on the public dole with no hope for ever fending for themselves. ACORN has also been a major player with regard to banking regulations being used to pressure financial institutions into massive “donations” that it uses to finance supposedly non-partisan voter turn-out drives.

The organization known as ACORN is not always so stealth in their intimidation tactics. Acorn protesters have disrupted Federal Reserve hearings and burst into a closed city council meeting in Chicago. ACORN protestors in Baltimore disrupted a bankers’ dinner and sent four busloads of profanity-screaming protestors to the mayor’s home, terrifying his wife and kids. ACORN representatives are proud to report the increased memberships that follow in the wake of high-profile disruptions. They make it clear that the public officials who object to the intimidation are the same people most likely to cave as a result of it.

Enter Barack Obama

Barack Obama served as the attorney for several lawsuits that ACORN lead in an effort to force banks to provide mortgages to the poorer communities. Obama represented ACORN in the Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Fed. Sav. Bank, 1994 suit against redlining.  Barack Obama was also the attorney representing ACORN in their drive for the 1995 regulatory revision pushed through by the Clinton Administration. The expansion of the CRA laid the groundwork for the Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac borne financial crisis we now confront. With this new authority, ACORN used its subsidiary, ACORN Housing, to promote subprime loans more aggressively.

As a New York Post article gives the details:

A 1995 strengthening of the Community Reinvestment Act required banks to find ways to provide mortgages to their poorer communities. It also let community activists intervene at yearly bank reviews, shaking the banks down for large pots of money.

Banks that got poor reviews were punished; some saw their merger plans frustrated; others faced direct legal challenges by the Justice Department.

A Fannie Mae Foundation report singled out one lender (Countrywide), which worked with community activists and followed “the most flexible underwriting criteria permitted.” Countrywide’s $1 billion commitment to low-income loans in 1992 had grown to $80 billion by 1999 and $600 billion by early 2003.

Since these loans were to be underwritten by the government sponsored Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government guarantee of those loans meant lenders, mortgage bundlers and investors would not have to carry the burden of the obvious risk associated with the high-risk loans. Bloomberg reported this to be, “…a classic case of socializing the risk while privatizing the profit.”

Obama as a Community Organizer

Barack Obama began his career as a community organizer in Chicago by organizing demonstrations of parents from the far South Side to press for improvement in their communities.  The mold for the demonstrations is much like the radical group ACORN’s mold.  Obama also claims credit for spearheading an asbestos cleanup of a low-income housing project.  (Activist Hazel Johnson says she is the one who actually uncovered the problem and lead the charge to resolve it.) Enter Madeline Talbot, [at the time] leader of Chicago ACORN, to defend Obama and invite him to train her staff.

As it were, Ms. Talbot was a key leader in ACORN’s storm on the Chicago City Council meeting on July 31, 1997. The storm consisted of 200 hundred ACORN members. Madeline Talbot was lead away in handcuffs along with five other ACORN members. She was charged with mob action and disorderly conduct.  Remember, this is the same woman who brought Obama into ACORN and whose staff he helped to train.

More important details of Barack Obama’s ties to ACORN can be found in an article by Toni Foulkes, published in the journal Social Policy entitled, “Case Study: Chicago — The Barack Obama Campaign.”  (Toni Foulkes, is a Chicago Acorn leader and a member of Acorn’s National Association Board.)  In the article, Foulkes talks about Obama’s role as the lead attorney in the case Acorn brought against the Illinois state government to implement the Motor Voter law there. Foulkes tells of Obama’s post-law school role as organizer of “Project VOTE” in 1992.  He makes it clear that this project was undertaken in direct partnership with Acorn. Foulkes then stresses Obama’s yearly service as a key figure in Acorn’s leadership-training seminars. Foulkes goes on to say Obama’s long service with Acorn led many members to serve as the volunteer shock troops of Obama’s early political campaigns. He continues on to say that Obama had personally helped train a new cadre of Chicago Acorn leaders. 

Here is the breakdown of ACORN’s voter rights tactics:

1.  Register as many Democrat voters as possible, legal or otherwise and help them vote, multiple times if possible.
2.  Overwhelm the system with fraudulent registrations using multiple entries of the same name, names of deceased, random names from the phone book, even contrived names.
3.  Make the system difficult to police by lobbying for minimal identification standards
4.  

 Obama and ACORN leaders had become “old friends” by the time Obama made his 2004 bid for the U.S. Senate. When you look closely, you can see ACORN’s signature on much of the legislation Senator Obama supported. The ACORN-friendly legislation includes living wage laws and banking practices. We know that living wage legislation drives businesses out of town. This means no businesses, no jobs. We know that banking practices legislation leads to loans being granted to people who would not otherwise qualify. This leads to default on loans which leads to banking collapse.

Follow the Money

Barack Obama served on the boards of two charitable foundations, the Woods Fund and the Joyce Foundation. According to the New York Times, Obama’s memberships on those foundation boards, “allowed him to help direct tens of millions of dollars in grants” to various liberal organizations, including Chicago Acorn, “whose endorsement Obama sought and won in his State Senate race.” Obama received ACORN’s endorsement for local campaigns and ultimately the presidency. In his pursuit of ACORN’s endorsement for president, Obama reminded ACORN officials of his long-standing ties to the group.

Modern Day ACORN

Today ACORN is involved in a wide array of activities, including housing rights, voting rights, illegal immigration and other issues. It is perhaps the largest radical group in the U.S. and has been cited for widespread criminal activity on many fronts.

THINK: On February 17, 2009, President Barack Obama signed the stimulus bill into law. This legislation included the earmark of $8.5 BILLION for ACORN.  The corruption within ACORN has been exposed to America, yet President Obama says he isn’t paying much attention to it. President Obama will not say that he will sign legislation to cut-off spending to this corrupt organization. Why won’t the president take a stand against this organization whose corruption and illegal activities have been caught on tape? Obama is showing his loyalty to this group.
